Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy is a blend of Yoga philosophy, Buddhism, Psychology and Neuroscience. I use contemporary body-mind approaches to facilitate a session which includes breath work, supported postures, mindfulness, and non-directive dialogue. This work is about accepting and being with your humanness. While reduced pain and increased quality of life may be a side effect of Yoga Therapy, the transformation comes from acknowledging what is present for you, and then deciding how to be with it.
