My daughter is an almost 15 year old on the road to recovery from restrictive disordered eating. When we found Sarah my daughter was newly weight restored and having a very hard time excepting her new body. It is such a treat to be guided in class by Sarah. Even in times of Zoom, she is able to provide verbal cues and adjustments as if you were in the room with her. Her expertise and wisdom of the body and yoga is accessible and felt even thru online yoga. I began practicing Yoga with Sarah in the winter of 2015. At that time I was super green, and eager to hone my skills and be “good” at Yoga. I was drawn to Sarah’s class because of the welcoming atmosphere and challenging opportunities offered in the sequences Sarah led. A few years ago, I made a connection with Sarah on the mat at SoulShine and pretty quickly I felt ‘filled up’ in a place that I hadn’t necessarily realized needed filling.
