Your body is talking… are you listening?

"The body, not the thinking brain, is where we experience most of our pain, pleasure, and joy and where we process most of what happens to us. It is also where we do most of our healing…"

– Resmaa Menakem

Are you struggling to keep up with the hectic pace of your life, finding yourself longing for simplicity, inner peace and deeper meaning, or for a way to heal? Though at times you may look outside of yourself for guidance, somewhere deep inside you know that you have the answers, you just need to listen to your own inner voice of Truth. That’s where I come in.

As a Yoga Therapist, I help to free you from pain and suffering in order to become more aligned with who you are meant to be. While pain is inevitable, with the support of Yoga Therapy we can find more effective ways to accept the pain, discomfort and uncertainties of life and suffer less.

In a session, I guide you into the direct experience of your body using breath awareness, supported postures, therapeutic touch and non-directive dialogue. I facilitate an embodied experience in which you are able to listen directly to your body and bear witness to all of the truths arising. There are never any expectations or pre-set goals for a session - you come exactly as you are, and I meet you there. Yoga Therapy is not about fixing or curing, it is about a process of self discovery and self realization and I am honored to support you on your journey towards enhanced wellbeing in body, mind and spirit.

No matter what challenging situation you face, the root cause of suffering is often the stress that surrounds it. As the symptoms of stress take hold, it’s easy to become disconnected from your Self, which in turn causes suffering on many levels. Yoga Therapy is a highly individualized, self-empowering process that supports you in skillfully managing the stress surrounding your circumstances, getting “unstuck,” and connecting more fully with your highest self.

I offer yoga therapy sessions for individuals, couples and small groups. Learn more about individual sessions HERE and learn more about couples sessions HERE.

Yoga Therapy is an accredited, integrative field. Certified Yoga Therapists receive 1,000+ hours of specialized training, and are recognized by the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT). I attended the School of Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy.
